In Piedmont's dialect Arneis means “birichino” (impish).
Seems that it gets this name because this wine is considerer a little crazy, difficult to produce because changes from one year to another.

Characteristics: medium to little berry, yellow-green tending to light gray

Vinification:
by a soft pressing and pureness fermentation for about 8-10 days at a controlled temperature of 18 – 20° C
Wine characteristics:
clear straw colour, sometimes tending to greenish nuances; intense bouquet and delicate flavour and a crisp, balanced and pleasantly bitter
Food matching:
can taste with starters and light foods, not to be underestimated as an aperitif
Tasting:
at a temperature of 8 – 10°C, Suggested to drink young
